World AIDS Day

World AIDS Day, observed December 1st of each year, provides an opportunity to remember those who have died as a result of the AIDS pandemic and to honor and support those who continue to live with the virus. AIDS Project Hartford typically collaborates with other local HIV/AIDS organizations to commemorate this special day. Past events have included prayer services, healing services, quilt displays, dance programs, art displays and multimedia presentations.
