AIDS Awareness Day

 

The first AIDS Awareness Day was held in 2000 in an attempt to mobilize the HIV/AIDS community.  The day is typically marked by a morning rally outside of the State Capitol followed by meetings with individual legislators.    More than 400 HIV advocates participated in AIDS Awareness Day 2009.  Additional information about AIDS Awareness Day 2010 will be posted on this website after January 1, 2010.
