Birdies for Charity

Birdies for Charity

We are excited to announce our 2012 partnership with the Travelers Championship Birdies for Charity program. Birdies for Charity is a pledge based program based on the number of birdies made by the PGA Tour professionals during tournament week. For example, for a $.01 pledge and 1,500 birdies made, the individual will be asked to make a donation of $15.00 to AIDS Project Hartford. Welcome!

AIDS Project Hartford is a private, non-profit organization that is dedicated to improving the quality of life of all people in Connecticut who are impacted by HIV/AIDS. The agency was founded by a committed group of volunteers in 1985 as a grassroots response to the growing AIDS crisis. During the past two decades, we have evolved from an organization fighting to help people face an imminent death into one focused on helping people live a longer life with hope and dignity. We employ a multi-cultural staff and offer all services in Spanish and English.

Our Mission

AIDS Project Hartford improves the lives of people impacted by HIV through direct services, advocacy and prevention education.

Our Vision

AIDS Project Hartford will be a recognized leader in the prevention needs and care of people impacted by HIV, creating new approaches to service, working in collaboration with all stakeholders, and advocating for a dignified, respectful system of service delivery.
